Unitive, a producer of packages for semiconductors, is forming a global sales and marketing organization along with its Asian partner, Taiwan-based Unitive Semiconductor.
As part of the agreement Unitive Taiwan will incorporate marketing and sales, engineering, technology development and design function teams into the Unitive workforce.
In a prepared statement, Unitive Vice President of Sales and Marketing Robert Lanzone says: “The new global sales organization will extend Unitive’s innovative technology to an even broader market. The arrangement helps us provide a greater level of service and expertise to our customers worldwide.”
Unitive formed in 1996 by Wayne Machon on a $500,000 loan from MCNC, and later spun off from the previously state-sponsored research facility.
