Convey Systems, a developer of Web-based teleconferencing applications which is one of the companies presented at Venture 2002 later this month, has hired Gary Pierotti as senior vice president of sales and marketing.
Pierotti comes over from eRevenue, an Atlanta-based application service provider for financial service clients, where he spent time as the senior vice president of sales and marketing.
“Joining the Convey team is exciting for me, because my previous experiences have driven home the need for the on-demand solution, and that gives me genuine enthusiasm about the benefits of using it,” Pierotti said in a prepared statement.
Privately-held Convey Systems, founded in 1998, uses the Internet to provide companies with video, voice over IP, text chat and applications sharing capabilities, among other services, to help facilitate that company’s daily business needs.
