BuildLinks, a developer of Web-based platforms that simplify the management of information used by homebuilders and their customers, says it is currently ahead of its 2002 sales predictions after signing on several in recent days — including two more on Tuesday.

So far, the company has signed on more than 30 homebuilders in 11 housing markets across the U.S. BuildLinks closed on $500,000 in private funding last February led by Knier and Associates. That money will be used to hire as many as 15 additional employees to the company’s Cary headquarters, company officials say.

The company also recently announced that it was opening a sales and customer support office in Atlanta. The office opened with one employee but company officials say they presently are busy trying to recruit more salespeople.
