PeopleClick, a provider of Web-based human resource software and services, has been named a Members Choice Top 25 Tools and Technology award winner by SAP FAQ, a peer to peer technical support Web site.

The award is given to companies whose products received the most recommendations from SAP FAQ’s 13,000 members during the month of March. Winners’ criteria include products with the “greatest positive impact,” and those that a member would recommend to their peers. Members were polled and asked to name three such products.

PeopleClick and the other 24 winners will be featured on the SAP FAQ Web site during the month of April in a rotating announcement.

PeopleClick made local headlines in Raleigh last January when then-president and CEO Curt Witte resigned from the company to care for his fiancée, who is battling a life-threatening illness. Ken Holec, PeopleClick’s interim CEO, reportedly is leading the search for a new chief executive. The company is looking for someone who can help it manage its client list of more than 3,300 companies, including 56 companies listed on the Fortune 500.

PeopleClick has about 300 employees and annual revenues totaling $30 million.
