RALEIGH, N.C. – NeoNova continues to expand its cloud footprint across the country.

The Raleigh-based company announced a strategic partnership on Thursday to deliver a complete suite of services and solutions to OTZ Telephone Cooperative in Alaska.

OTZ is located just north of the Arctic Circle. Yes, that’s the Arctic Circle – how’s that for remote?

OTZ supports a growing number of villages along the northwest coast of the state and is the area’s only telecommunications company providing reliable tools and technology for nearly 1,000 broadband customers.

“We wanted to leverage the potential of the cloud,” said Douglas Neal, CEO of OTZ.

“As a cooperative, OTZ invests everything right back into serving our customers,” he continued. “The more OTZ grows, the more we are able to enhance and expand our services, support the region’s local economy, and give back to our communities.”

As a full-service technology arm for the National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative (NRTC), Neonova believes the local service provider is the best service provider and works to help customers navigate to the cloud via efficient and innovative managed services, state-of-the-art application suites and integrated help desk solutions, all backed by superior customer service. They also are an authorized Premier Reseller of Google Apps™ for Business and ISPs.

“We exist to enable rural ISPs and small-to medium-sized businesses to focus on what they do best – taking care of the customer and breaking the digital divide between rural and urban markets, said NeoNova Vice President Sales and Marketing Chris Benyo. “We are proud to serve OTZ and the other six new telephone companies we have added this year.”

NeoNova expanded its operations last summer and moved its offices to Raleigh in 2013.
