GRPN has legacy negative perception issues and reality facing its future. Negative issues include some accounting things previously done as well as an inherently high operating cost due to heavy marketing needed to attain new accounts as attrition is high due to high merchant transaction fees and low perceived value. It's hard to regain footing with these perceptions and realities dominating the marketplace.
