Veritas Collaborative, a specialty hospital system for treating eating disorders headquarted in Durham, NC, has raised $8.7 million in equity, according to a regulatory filing.

Veritas Collaborative Holdings has raised $8,738, 843 in new equity from 25 investors, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company previously raised an equity round of $9,999,999 in 2016.

The multidisciplinary staff of Veritas Collaborative is comprised of doctors, psychotherapists, nurses, and educators.

It has locations in Durham, Richmond, VA, and Atlanta, GA.

The company says it provides comprehensive, evidence-based care for persons with eating disorders.
