ExitEvent, a news partner of WRAL TechWire and a fellow Capitol Broadcasting venture, went live with a new website on Monday.

The site, which focuses on startups, features more headlines, is more colorful, incorporates a new logo, and highlights video interviews.

ExitEvent was acquired by Capitol’s American Underground business unit earlier this year.

Editor Laura Baverman disclosed last week that the site would be offline for a few days as its team prepared for the new launch.

And on Monday, the new site went live.

Featured stories including a post from the Research Triangle Foundation that discusses its own new, more social-focused website, as well as a report on the recent Tilt gaming expo in Durham.

ExitEvent also continues to put on social events for entrepreneurs, the latest of which took place Monday night.

WRAL TechWire and ExitEvent work together to provide coverage of the Triangle’s growing entrepreneurial community and other areas such as Wilmington.
