Premium Lock NC fifth in total venture capital raised in Q3

MoneyTree Venture capitalists invested $16.3 billion in 1,070 deals in the third quarter of 2015, according to the MoneyTree Report from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA), based on data provided by Thomson Reuters. Among states, North Carolina firms drew $363.5 million in investments in 18 deals, ranking 5th nationally behind California, Massachusetts, New York, and Texas.
