Triangle-based TechMedia has renamed its Southeast Venture Conference to the Fusion Conference, with the first event flying under the new name set for June 7-8, 2017 in Washington, DC. Premium Lock A first: App developer TransLoc, Uber team to link with public transit

TransLoc, an emerging technology development firm focused on transportation applications, is teaming with Uber to help public transit riders plan trips and then get an Uber rider to final destinations. The Triangle is one of first two markets for the service, and GoTriangle sees the partnership as a "last mile" solution for riders. Uber hails the partnership as a "first" and praises TransLoc.
