Triangle-based TechMedia has renamed its Southeast Venture Conference to the Fusion Conference, with the first event flying under the new name set for June 7-8, 2017 in Washington, DC. TransLoc, an emerging technology development firm focused on transportation applications, is teaming with Uber to help public transit riders plan trips and then get an Uber rider to final destinations.
