Epic's Cliff Bleszinski defends 'Bulletstorm,' aims for more hits

Triangle Gaming 2011: "As the industry continues to grow and evolve, we want to make sure that we hit as wide of an audience as possible," Epic's creative genius says. "When you look at Bulletstorm, it is a first-person shooter. It's Mature rated. It's very fun, and over-the-top. Retail sales of video games, gear, software dip in January

Video game sales Software sales are on the decline because more people are acquiring games through digital means -- as downloads, for example -- rather than going to stores to buy a packaged disc. NPD does not include game downloads in its monthly sales data, so the numbers can show a decline even if more people are playing games.
