If you are launching a business or have one underway and are looking for funding, you have only yourself to blame if you can’t find a platform from which to make a pitch.

Entrepreneurs in search of investors aren’t lacking for opportunities these days. Adding to the list is the upcoming Triangle Entrepreneurship Week.

In addition to the Internet Summit, which is adding a Startup Summit, this year, Triangle Entrepreneurship Week is offering pitch opportunities.

“Any seed-stage startup looking for funding or exposure should apply to pitch at Triangle Entrepreneurship Week, where more than 50% of previous pitching companies were funded,” writes Sarah Wechsberg, the event’s director.

“Pitching is free but time is running out. Applications are due October 27.”

So, what are you waiting for, startup executive?

Apply!

Triangle Entrepreneurship Week is set for Nov. 12-16.

Pitches will be made during a number of roundtable discussions, with startups given five minutes to describe their business before Q-and-A sessions.

“The goal,” Wechsberg said to entrepreneurs, “is to get you funded!”

Applications will be screened based on a number of factors:

  • Uniqueness of products or services offered
  • Market size
  • Management and team makeup
  • Milestones and revenue and funding status

Triangle Entrepreneurship Week is designed to connect entrepreneurs, regional leaders, funders and resources that can help grow businesses.
