View logistics differently” – that’s the pitch from LogistiVIEW via augmented reality.

Cary-based LogistiVIEW is a startup banking on technology to improve workforce management that focuses on the human factor: Utilizing augmented reality-equipped devices to make workers more productive.

“LogistiVIEW is the first workforce optimization platform to use a wearable device for computer vision and augmented reality,” says CEO Seth Patin.

“Other wearable systems use the device as a heads up display only. With LogistiVIEW, business systems can see what workers see and visually instruct workers in a way that no other system can.”

  • What is the focus of your business?

At LogistiVIEW we see untapped potential in human labor. Most modern workforce management systems sacrifice human efficiency for information integrity. Our mission is to maximize the productivity and accountability of human labor using computer vision, augmented reality, and wearable devices.

  • What is the top pain point/business application you are seeking to address?

Labor is the most costly and risky part of an enterprise operation. Billions of dollars are lost annually to human inefficiency and avoidable mistakes. With LogistiVIEW, a mobile workforce can operate with both hands and eyes focused on their tasks to maximize efficiency while augmented reality provides instructions and information to help them avoid costly mistakes.

  • What makes it unique?

LogistiVIEW is the first workforce optimization platform to use a wearable device for computer vision and augmented reality. Other wearable systems use the device as a heads up display only. With LogistiVIEW, business systems can see what workers see and visually instruct workers in a way that no other system can.

  • Why should investors be interested in your firm?

LogistiVIEW has created the first workforce optimization platform to leverage enterprise augmented reality. Over the next 10 years, technology advancements will drive AR and wearables mainstream and up to 25 million deskless workers will be equipped with smart glasses. We are currently negotiating pilot projects with some of the largest logistics and retail companies in the world (details protected by non-disclosure agreements). Within 3 years, mainstream adoption of wearable and augmented reality technology in enterprise will begin and by 2023 the market will be hundreds of thousands of units per year. There is currently no established enterprise AR platform leader.  LogistiVIEW plans to dominate this market by 2020, driving hundreds of millions in revenue and a billion dollar valuation by 2023.

  • How are you financed at this point?

We are currently funded by our founders, Seth Patin and Paul Patin. To date, Seth and Paul have invested approximately $750,000. We are currently seeking investment capital to accelerate our development efforts.
