All Green Recycling is finding “green” in the shape of precious metals through its patented technology.

The Charlotte startup will be telling its story to investors at the CED Tech Venture Conference on Sept. 19-20 in Raleigh.

“AGR’s processes are faster, far less expensive and more transparent than the current industry standards and the results net greater revenue and profit to All Green,” says CEO Carol Jegou.

“Our processes are conducted in house, instead of in most cases, multiple third party vendors. This typically involves collectors, brokers  and then numerous steps including shredding and smelting  eventually to the primary smelters in Europe or Asia.”

This profile is the latest in a series of stories written, edited and published by WRAL TechWire in partnership with the CED.

“The All Green technology provides cost and environmental advantages compared with overseas smelting. In addition, recovering precious metals using our technology enables closed-loop recycling of precious metals in electronics and improved conflict free mineral management,” Jegou explains.

The Q&A:

  • What is the focus of your business?

All Green’s precious metal recovery system from circuit boards is the company’s main focus. All Green’s overall recycling and recovery process, presents an alternative to the status quo of the overseas smelting of circuit boards.

AGR’s processes are faster, far less expensive and more transparent than the current industry standards and the results net greater revenue and profit to All Green. Our processes are conducted in house, instead of in most cases, multiple third party vendors. This typically involves collectors, brokers  and then numerous steps including shredding and smelting  eventually to the primary smelters in Europe or Asia.

AGR is providing control over the entire process including the pouring of Gold. AGR presents an opportunity to establish a vertically integrated one stop US source and very scalable process to control the results.

  • What is the top pain point/business application you are seeking to address?

The top business application we are seeking to address is AGR’s capability of recovering high purity gold, silver, palladium and platinum in the U.S.(presently operating in Charlotte) from scrap circuit boards without environmental barriers.

  • What makes it unique?

The industry standard for precious metal recovery from scrap circuit boards is currently to export boards to Europe or Asia to primary smelters using furnaces. All Green Recycling uses our proprietary patent-pending technology and trade secrets to extract precious metals from circuit boards, without environmental barriers. This concentrate is then further refined to extract high purity, conflict free gold and other precious metals including silver, palladium and platinum .

  • Why should investors be interested in your firm?

All Green’s precious metals recovery process will be highly visible, scalable and very profitable in a short time frame, with the proper financial partner. AGR has created clean, green, disruptive technology with opportunities in both national and international highly visible companies.

The All Green technology provides cost and environmental advantages compared with overseas smelting. In addition, recovering precious metals using our technology enables “closed-loop” recycling of precious metals in electronics and improved “conflict free mineral” management.

  • How are you financed at this point?

All Green Recycling has been financed through a combination of debt and equity investment from high net-worth, highly visible investors and company executives.
