The number of meetup and networking events for entrepreneurs across the Triangle is growing – and one of the new ones, Startup and Play, earns kudos from Chris Heivly, co-managing partner at Triangle Startup Factory.
“In addition to free pizza and good beer (is there bad free beer) the hosts conducted one of the funnest group games I have been part of – a loud boisterous self-regulating game of rock-paper-scissors where winners found each other until there was just one winner,” Heivly wrote in a blog post at Triangle Tech Talk.
“Aaron Gerry and team are well on their way in establishing a great event for all.”
The latest event took place at The HUB, a fast-growing business space focusing on startups in Raleigh on Monday.
In addition to rock-paper-scissors, Starup and Play featured 10 emerging companies, as noted by Heivly:
- Kramden
- Chez Moi Bakery
- TripreneurTV
- Shop Local Raleigh
- Subject 2 Change
- Groundworkk
- LiPi
- Sixth Sun
- CityFabric
- Koyr, Inc.
- GEMAtouch
- Evolvemint
