Companies seeking investors can now apply to be selected for presentations at the 2008 Southeast Venture Conference.
The second annual event will be Feb. 27-28 in Tysons Corner, Va.
A group of venture capitalists will make up the selection committee.
Companies in business services, consumer products, financial services, energy, software, communications, medical devices, information technology, life sciences, nanotech, Internet and defense are eligible for nomination.
Both early stage and later stage firms will be selected.
The deadline for application is Nov. 9.
Companies must have their headquarters in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia or Washington, D.C.
