Software and analytics company SAS is getting ready to kick off its 10th annual Health Care & Life Sciences Executive Conference, with a focus this year on health analytics.

The conference will address how analyzing data in health care can help health care professionals provide better care and help life science companies bring new therapies to market faster.

The presentations and speakers start Wednesday morning on SAS’ Cary campus. Keynote presenters include Dr. Peter Diamandis, CEO of the X-Prize foundation, which offers incentive prizes for breakthroughs that benefit humanity; and Dave deBronkart, an “e-patient” and blogger who advocates for patient engagement in health care.

SAS’ CEO Jim Goodnight is also scheduled to speak about visual analytics.
