Zift Solutions, a provider of channel marketing automation solutions, keeps growing through acquisitions. The RTP-based firm has acquired SharedVue, which had been part of The Channel Company. It’s Zift’s second buy of a competitor within the past year. Zift also is hiring to further drive growth.

Zift, which has raised more than $6 million in venture capital, now has nearly 100 customers and more than 30,000 channel partners, the company says.

SharedVue had been a division of the Channel Company, which is based in Massachusetts.

While Zift will operate the combined resources of Zift and SharedVue, The Channel Company maintains an ownership share in Zift.

“Zift has grown dramatically with the addition of SharedVue and Marketing Advocate employees to its team including now more than 50 located in the Research Triangle Park area,” says David Buffaloe, vice president of marketing.

“The company is continuing to add strategic hires and currently has several open positions. “

Buffaloe also says Zift wants to develop a deeper relationship with The Channel Company.

“While the SharedVue brand, solutions and personnel will be folded into Zift, we’re solidifying and strengthening our relationship with The Channel Company in order to deliver best-of-breed solutions to the growing channel market,” he says.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

“The addition of SharedVue continues Zift Solutions’ growth trajectory and will allow us to deliver on the next wave of channel marketing automation capabilities,” said Ken Romley, CEO of Zift Solutions, in a statement. “With an unparalleled set of combined features and functionality, along with expanded R&D and account management capacity, Zift Solutions will provide more value, solutions and services faster to a broader range of customers now and into the future.”

SharedVue offers web content syndication, automated email marketing and social media syndication.
