Raleigh-based Republic Wireless will soon offer a new smartphone in an attempt to better compete with the new Apple iPhone.
CEO David Morken said Republic will offer the Motorola E for $99 in October.
In part, Morken said the company is responding to complaints such as; “Come on, man. Where’s the iPhone 6?”
Republic offers Motorola phones as part of its Wi-FI/cellular service.
