The Council for Entrepreneurial Development hosts a Tech Forum in Raleigh on Tuesday night featuring a briefing from Red Hat executives on open source development and possible partnerships.

“Red Hat, Raleigh, and Open Source: Accessing a Global Community” is set for 5:30-8 p.m. at the A.J. Fletcher Opera Theater, which is part of the Progress Energy Center for the performing Arts.

Registration is free.

Executives will discuss new technologies, corporate strategy, and talk about how entrepreneurs can work with Red Hat, which is based in Raleigh.

The program will include a demonstration of Red Hat’s latest cloud and mobile technologies.

Featured Red Hat (NYSE: RHT) speakers include DeLisa Alexander, executive vice president and chief people officer; Michael Ferris, director of business architecture; and Burr Sutter, senior product manager Red Hat/JBoss.
