Free City of Raleigh GIS parking space locations and free real time meter information. Seems like 5K is a lot for a simple app. Who owns the app after it is built and who is going to maintain it? The Council shouldn't be in the software business. The City of Raleigh already has an IT Department that could build this with no problem.

I have to disagree, @lsutton5144. I'm often the passenger and if I could tell the driver which deck is open and even better, currently free, we would certainly be heading in that direction.
Ridiculous. Another reason for people to look at their phone while driving, which we all know is dangerous.
