How ironic that the latest “Midas List” of the top 100 venture capitalists is published in the midst of the closing arguments at the huge sexual bias lawsuit against global VC powerhouse Kleiner Perkins. Interestingly, a Kleiner Perkins exec is one of the five women on the list, reports Forbes.

“More women are in the top 25 than ever before, including Jenny Lee of GGV Capital at No. 10, Mary Meeker of Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers at No. 15, and Rebecca Lynn of Canvas Venture Fund at No. 23,” Forbes reports.

Ellen Pao is suing Kleiner Perkins for $16 million in a case that brought a spotlight on the lack of diversity within with venture capital industry. Closing arguments continue today.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday Forbes disclosed the Midas list. Here’s the top 10 and their top investments:
