Pharmaceutical Product Development, the contract research organization widely known as PPD, has introduced new software that gives the firm’s client’s real-time access to clinical trial data.

Called InVision, the technology is intended to save both time and money in the clinical trial process. Wilmington-based PPD unveiled the new technology at the 22nd annual Partnerships in Clinical Trials conference in Orlando, Fla.

InVision offers a dashboard that provides interactive visualizations of operational and patient data, giving clients and PPD teams the ability to identify trends and drill down into the data for detailed information.
