A Raleigh-based healthcare company raised $2.8 million from four investors, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Essential Health Solutions Inc. filed the Form D on Nov. 30.

The company stated it has filed to raise $3.1 million, with $303,750 remaining. It did not disclose what the company intends to do with the proceeds. The offering is not expected to last more than one year.

Founded on Nov. 15, 2016, the company does not have a website. Its office is located at 4101 Lake Boone Trail in Raleigh.

President and CEO Corey DeHaven signed the Form D. He had previously served 13 years as vice president of information systems for Metabolon. Metabolon is a Durham-based company that is pioneering metabolomics, a technology for assessing health.
