If you are looking for a job, there are nearly 300 companies in Raleigh today looking for talent.

N.C. State College of Engineering’s job fair wraps up its two-day run Wednesday with some 294 companies manning booths at NCSU’s McKimmon Center looking for talent.

The action begins at 9:30 a.m. when doors open and lasts through 4 p.m.

The event is free, open to the public, and no registration is required. 

Known as the “Engineering Career Fair,” the event has grown ninto one of the largest job fairs in the Triangle. 

Launched in 1998, it has grown into a twice-yearly gathering with NCSU students, alumni and people from across the country turning out in a search for jobs. 

“Our Engineering Career Fair is one of the largest career fairs in the country held specifically for engineering students,” NCSU says.

“The event provides an opportunity for prospective employers from a wide range of industries to meet with engineering students interested in working for their companies.”
