The North Carolina Health Informatics and Communications Alliance, or NCHICA, will hold its third Informatics & Analytics Forum on Feb. 5 in Chapel Hill.

The event, titled “Quality Measures in Healthcare: What is Working & What to Expect,” will include discussions of the required measures to meet federal health IT standards. Scheduled speakers include Dr. Zahid Butt, CEO of Medisolv; Lisa Lenta, health insurance specialist at the Centers for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services; and Dr. Suzanne Wilson, chief medical informatics officer of FirstHealth of the Carolinas.

Registration The program, at the Friday Center in Chapel Hill, is scheduled to run from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. The registration deadline is Feb. 3. Registration costs $25 for members, $35 for non-members and $10 for students. More information is available online.
