Thought leaders and executives from both the public and private sectors gather Tuesday for the “NC Investor Day” conference, its purpose being to discuss ways in which new and emerging businesses can find funding sources.

Topics include:

  • Buying into a franchise
  • The changes in world of finance

The Support Center, which made 115 loans totaling $7.6 million to businesses last year and focuses on underserved communities, is putting on the conference.

The conference is set to take place at the N.C. Biotechnology Center starting at 9 a.m.
