Netsertive, a member of the Inc. 5000 for the second consecutive year, is leveraging its growth into new funding with $7 million in a credit facility from Square 1 Bank and $3 million from investors.

Just two years ago, Netsertive raised $10 million and used those funds to move into a new headquarters in Morrisville while adding some 60 employees.

“This latest funding enables us to continue our strong growth as we empower product brands and local businesses to work together in executing the last mile of marketing, something that has become both incredibly complex and incredibly valuable in the digital age,” said Brendan Morrissey, the chief executive officer and a co-founder of the Internet ecommerce technology firm, said.

Netsertive works with clients through its Digital Channel Marketing platform technology to drive more effective “media spend” for advertising and promotion.

Clients include Serta, La-Z-Boy, Electrolux, Frigidaire, Chrysler, Jeep, Epson, Samsung.

“Many Brands today want to be found online locally but struggle to help their retailers into the digital age,” Morrissey said. “Our technology and vertical focus solve key channel problems that empower both sides of the relationship to win that local fight.”

Last year, Netsertive added to its reputation when it was nammed Google AdWords Premier SMB Partner. This represents a major milestone for Netsertive, which launched in 2009 and competes with the largest Internet marketing companies.

“It’s one of the most important achievements we’ve made as a company, to date,” said Morrissey at the time, “as it gives us access to more resources and provides a market validation of the performance and support we provide our fast growing client base.”

Funds will be invested in the company’s technology. Netsertive now has more than 130 employees.

Netsertive cracked the Inc. 5000 list of the largest privately held companies for the second consecutive year, although its ranking fell to No. 482 from No. 368.

The company reported three-year revenue growth of 986 percent with 2013 sales reaching $19.6 million. It ranked No. 12 among N.C. companies on the list.Netsertive has added 116 jobs over the past three years.
