NEW YORK – DealNews’ sixth annual report forecasts prices for a variety of the season’s hottest consumer electronics and popular products timed for Black Friday. The report provides practical shopping advice and price benchmarks to help consumers save money this Black Friday season.

DealNews editors analyzed up to three years of archived deal data to predict prices for select Apple products, HDTVs, laptops, smartphones, tablets, gaming and toys, media players, Blu-ray movies, clothing, shoes, and home goods.

The best way to make the most of Black Friday is to be prepared, which is why it’s never too early for our annual Black Friday deal predictions. If you’re wondering what the doorbuster deals will be in TVs this year, or whether or not we could see a slew of iPhone deals, then you’ve come to the right place. Before you start reading, keep in mind that our predictions are for the absolute best deals of the Black Friday season, which runs from mid-November through Cyber Monday. These deals will constitute the lowest of the lows, not averages. (See our methodology section on the last page for more info.) It should thus be assumed that if shoppers want to snag these deals, they will need to be prepared to pounce once they show up.
