Entrepreneurs will have a chance to hear why they should seek a term sheet from investors in a new spin being put on the annual Tech Venture Conference later this month.

The “reverse pitches” idea comes from entrepreneur-turned-investor Robbie Allen, who launched Automated Insights, and Jason Caplain of Bull City Venture Partners. They are the co-chairs of the Council for Entrepreneurial Development’s event in Raleigh.

“During the three networking breaks, attendees have the option of hearing live pitches direct from investors on each fund’s investment criteria and diligence process,” the CED notes.
