Connecting veterans to jobs is about to get easier.
IBM and Corporate America Supports You announced a new initiative Tuesday that connects North Carolina veterans to highly-skilled tech jobs. The program will provide returning service members with hands-on training, certification and job placement.
“We’re very excited to be here,” said IBM Vice President Diane Melley.
“We’re looking for a high success rate from these veterans and looking forward to welcoming them into corporate America, not only at IBM, but also at our other corporate partnters.”
More than 200 veterans around the country will participate in the program this year.
