HQ Raleigh announced an expansion Friday to Uptown Charlotte. HQ Raleigh will partner with Packard Place on a co-working space there, the third HQ in the Carolinas.

HQ Charlotte will boast almost 90,000 square feet of shared, scalable space for offices and resources to support local entrepreneurs. It will be larger than both HQ Raleigh and HQ Greensboro, bringing the HQ total to 123,000 square feet and 300 member companies across the state.

HQ Charlotte will have a soft opening Feb. 18, and the space will be designed and built out through the spring.

“This partnership will enable us to provide even greater value to our network of members and sponsors,” said HQ founding partner Jason Widen. “We’re creating statewide connectivity, energy and opportunity for our entrepreneurial members and their supporters.”

“This isn’t just important for Raleigh and Charlotte, this is important for North Carolina,” said .Dan Roselli, co-founder of Packard Place. “This partnership proves that North Carolina is leading the thinking in our country on how to innovate and collaborate, giving our state and its entrepreneurs a significant competitive advantage.”
