Wilson,NC offers gigibit service to the county of Wilson. Greenlight is owned and operated by the city of Wilson. Time Warner was successful in lobbying the state to pass a law preventing other towns in NC from doing the same. Not sure how TW is in other communities but here in Wilson their service is horrible. Heard someone say that the best sells dept GL has is the TW service dept. If Google can offer good service with a dependable network... Goodbye Time Warner

Seriously, a TWC/Comcast merger would produce a monopoly alright. A monopoly of suck.
How long do you think it will be before TW/Comcast sues to block them - all in the interest of the customer, of course.
