Aaron Williams, who left RTI International in 2009 to become director of the U.S. peace Corps then returned in 2012 as head of international development, is taking on a new role.
Another RTI executive also is changing jobs.
Williams is moving into a newly created position as executive vice president of Government Relations and Corporate Communications.
Taking over the International Development Group post from Williams is Paul Weisenfeld.
The changes take effect July 1.

Williams first worked for RTI between 2003-2009 before being named to the peace Corps post by President Obama. He had spent 22 years at the United States Agency for International Development, or USAID, before joining RTI.

Weisenfeld came to RTI in 2013 as vice president for global programs after a 20-plus year career at USAID.
