FilterEasy, the Raleigh-based startup that offers air filter services for HVAC systems on a subscription basis, has closed on $6.9 million in new venture funding.
Triangle investors include:
- NC State Endowment Fund
- IDEA Fund Partners
- Triangle Angel Partners
- Cofounders Capital
Arsenal Venture Partners, which is based in Florida, led the round.
Other backers include RTP Capital Associates, Silicon Valley-based Azure Capital, and the venture group of Michael Olander Jr.’s MDO Holdings.
The funding was announced Tuesday.
Launched in 2014, the company has now raised more than $11 million in funding.
FilterEasy raised $3 million a year ago and a $1.2 million round in 2015.
Thad Tarkington, the CEO, and Kevin Barry, the COO, founded the company while attending North Carolina State University.
