Avadim Technologies, which grew revenues by more than 2.500 percent last year, continues to land a growing amount of investor interest with a new influx of cash.

The company has recently raised $7.325 million as part of what it hopes will be a $20 million round.

Avadim, disclosed the recent fund raising in a securities filing on Wednesday.

In the new Inc 5000 list for 2017, Avadim ranked No. 162 with revenues of $6.3 million.

Some 75 investors from North Carolina and nine other states have participated in the on-going round.

Avadim manufactures skin hygiene products to healthcare providers, and according to its website the company offers items such as “specialty care packs,” silver bathing systems, body cleansers and pH and hygiene management sprays.

The company was founded in 2007 in Asheville.

Last September, Avadim announced it will launch a major expansion of operations in Buncombe County, building a new 100,000 square foot corporate headquarters to “meet rapid growth and demand of its technology.”
