So they were contractually obligated to announce deployment sites last month and didn't? The question is was AT&T ever really serious about this, or was the whole thing PR. I'm sure they may cherry pick and add fiber to some high end new developments, but this has always had the smell of fiber to the press release. I just hope Google Fiber comes to the triangle.
I imagine that AT&T doesn't want the other fiber competitors, TWC and RST, in NC to step up and fill their place as they break contractual obligations to the NCNGN because of their weak move by their CEO.
