Epic Games subsidiary People Can Fly is changing its name to Epic Games Poland to reflect the Cary company’s global ambitions.

“We’ve changed the studio’s name from People Can Fly to Epic Games Poland,” Epic said in a statement to Pixel Enemy. “We’re a global company with talented people working toward one goal across the world. We think this helps better reflect that.”

Epic also confirmed that the Poland subsidiary was one of the studios working on survival game “Fortnite.” As People Can Fly, the company was known for the games “Bulletstorm” and “Gears of War: Judgment.”

Epic acquired a controlling stake in People Can Fly in 2007. The company acquired the rest of the Warsaw, Poland-based company in 2012.
