Game designer Ken Rolston is the first announced keynote speaker for the East Coast Game Conference in Raleigh this spring.

Rolston is director of design for Boston firm Turbine. Rolston’s experience includes serving as executive design director and “visionary” on Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning for Big Huge Games and 38 Studios. He was also formerly lead designer for Bethesda’s award-winning The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind.

Rolston’s designer experience includes paper-and-pencil roleplaying games, including Dungeons & Dragons. He has also served as roleplaying director for West End Games, Games Workshop, and Avalon Hill Game Company.

The East Coast Game Conference is coming to Raleigh’s Convention Center on April 23 and 24. Registration is open now.
