CARY – Arjan Brussee, who helped Epic Games legend Cliff Bleszinski to launch a new company in 2014, is returning to Epic.

Brussee tweeted the news Friday, saying he is rejoining the Cary-based video game technology giant “after 20 years” to work on what he described as “an exciting secret project.”

Bleszinski, a creative thought leader at Epic, and Brussee launched Raleigh-based Boss Key.

Earlier this year, Boss Key launched Lawbreakers, its first title.

Brussee cited Epic co-founders Tim Sweeney, its CEO, and Mark Rein, its top marketing executive, in the tweet.

Brussee helped launch a studio in 2003 and also has worked at EA.
