Charter Communications, which offers cable TV services throughout much of North Carolina following its acquisition of Time Warner Cable, is rolling out a new app to enable mobile and other device viewing for customers.

Charter unveiled the Spectrum TV App on Tuesday.

According to the company, customers can access content on computers, mobile and connected devices across Charter service areas.

“All Spectrum TV customers can watch up to 300 live channels and 25,000 free and subscription On Demand titles anywhere in the home on a variety of platforms, including iOS, Android, Kindle Fire, Roku, Xbox One, Samsung Smart TV and web via www.SpectrumTV.com,” the company says.

The app can be downloaded by customers at no cost through the SpectrumTV website.
