Presenting companies at the 2016 CED Tech Venture Conference have the opportunity to be featured in Q&A profiles to be published at WRAL TechWire through a partnership being announced today.

More than 90 emerging and entrepreneurial companies – most of which are from North Carolina – have been selected to participate in the annual event, which draws investors from far beyond the state and southeast.

In an effort to further raise the profiles of these entrepreneurs, WRAL TechWire and the CED are extending an invitation to each company to have published at WRALtechwire.com  a Q&A about each that will highlight the mission, the technology, and the founders of each.

The profiles will be published on the “free side” of WRAL TechWire through the conference, which is set for Sept. 13-14 in Raleigh.

Another “avenue” to get attention

Steve Hinkson, Director of Communications, says that the Q&As are an opportunity for these firms to spread their message through WRAL TechWire, which is now in its 15th year and has a global readership of thought leaders, investors and tech fans.

“Just being selected to pitch or demo a company at the Tech Venture Conference represents a big opportunity. There are any number of companies that point to a connection with an investor, mentor, or support organization made at the conference being a key factor in the company’s later success. We’re excited to partner with TechWire to add even more value for these companies, as they’ll have another avenue to raise their profiles and grab the attention of the community,” Hickson says.

Companies are being sent invitations (as well as the Q&A format) to participate in the Q&As by the CED on Friday.

Don’t miss the opportunity

Speaking on behalf of WRAL TechWire as its editor, I urge every company to take advantage of this publication opportunity.

Each company is asked to define its mission, what makes it unique, what its target market is – in essence, why investors should be interested in what they are doing.

The Q&As also will feature each participating company’s logo, website and other information.

The series will kick off next week, so if your firm is among the presenters and you wish to participate, then send the Q&A information ASAP.

The sooner your company’s profile is published, the more time investors will have to review what you are doing – and perhaps inquire about your efforts well ahead of the conference.

Plus, with so many companies to be profiled, entrepreneurs should get their answers in quickly to ensure each is published ahead of the conference.

WRAL TechWire looks forward to hearing from every Tech Venture presenter.
