CED’s Tech Venture conference draws to a close in Raleigh today, having attracted investors and entrepreneurs from around the country. A key draw has been the growing number of attractive startups across the Triangle and North Carolina plus some in the southeast. And we have tried to bring additional attention to those ventures.

WRAL Tech Wire has featured 60 of these startups and emerging entrepreneurial companies over the past month in what has been the biggest, most comprehensive package of content WTW has published since launching in 2002.

  • Some 30,000 words (at least)
  • Scores of videos and photos as well as graphics
  • In-depth information about each firm, from mission to secret sauce to investor appeal

And there are more to come.

WTW partnered with the CED to offer the some 90 companies selected to present at Tech Venture the opportunity to be featured through Q&A profiles.

Many of these were augmented beyond content provided by company executives with additional research, such as videos and from stories previously published in WTW and elsewhere.

Nearly 70 companies responded. WTW will be published additional profiles over the next few days.

You can find the startup profiles in WTW’s archives by searching “tech venture.” Search by date to get the most recent stories. There will be other Tech Venture posts in the mix, of course, but each Q&A begins with the headline:

“CED Tech Venture profile.”

WTW tanks the CED and all the startups that chose to participate in this huge venture.

Note: The headline said “to date.”

That’s a hint about things to come.

Stay tuned.
