StraTech, a provider of data center and other information technology services, is being sold.

The Cary-based company, which for years was known as Strategic Technologies, is being acquired by Datalink (Nasdaq: DTLK).

The deal was announced Tuesday and is expected to close on Thursday. The acquisition involves “substantially all of the assets, and liabilities,” the companies said.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

StraTech is part of Midas Medici Group Holdings.

StraTech was known as Consonus after a merger between Consonus and Strategic Technologies. The firm’s name was changed to StraTech earlier this year.

StraTech was co-founded by Mike and Will Shook. The Shooks left the company in 2009.
