Geek-A-Thon to refurbish 250 PCs at Lenovo for Fort Bragg families

As many as 250 computers will be refurbished by the Kramden Institute over the next three days at Lenovo’s headquarters for presentation to children of military personnel stationed at Fort Bragg.
The “Geek-A-Thon” event is part of the institute’s efforts to provide needy families with computers that have been donated and rebuilt. Lenovo, the world’s No. 4 PC maker, is the founding sponsor for Kramden.
Some 180 volunteers, including many Lenovo employees, are expected to participate over the three days, and all shifts for the project have already been filled, according to the institute.
This event is the fourth sponsored by Lenovo.
