Internet Summit 2009 set for Raleigh in November
Internet Summit 2009, a two-day event that will focus for trends and opportunities in the Internet, entrepreneurship, high tech and life sciences and related sectors, will take place in Raleigh.
The conference, put on by TechJournal South and venture capital firm Southern Capitol Ventures, is set for Nov. 4-5 at the recently opened Raleigh Convention Center.
The first event took place last fall in Chapel Hill, drawing a sell-out crowd of more than 700 people.
Topics will include social networks, search engine marketing, online advertising, blogs, software as a service, the mobile Web, e-commerce, Internet security, and e-mail marketing among others.
"Companies exploiting the next generation of Internet technologies are those staying ahead of the curve and experiencing substantial growth in their businesses," said Scott Hedrick of TechJournal South. "The goal of this event is to inspire, educate and evolve the thought process of companies in the region.”
