Former Misys exec to lead marketing efforts at SciQuest

Gamble Hefferman, a former executive at Misys, is the new vice president of marketing for SciQuest.
Operating through a software as a service model, SciQuest offers e-procurement services to universities, 11 of the 15 largest pharmaceutical firms, and other government and healthcare agencies.
Hefferman will help oversee SciQuest’s expansion into additional markets. At Misys, a provider of software and services to financial service and healthcare providers, she was senior vice president for community solutions with an emphasis on community hospitals and electronic medical records integration.
