SciQuest Executive To Discuss Strategy at LTW Executives' Edge Event
SciQuest, Inc. COO Jamie Duke participates in a panel this Thursday that spotlights 'dual-shoring' at a luncheon presented by WRAL's Local Tech Wire. Part of “The Exchange – Executive's Edge” series, the two-hour event begins at 11 a.m. at the American Tobacco Company – Bay 7 in Durham.
Jay Swaminathan, distinguished professor at UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School, will moderate and will shed light on SciQuest’s successful application of lean development. He also delves into ways the company effectively balances resourcing between Cary and India.
Recent WRAL Local Tech Wire reports explored various angles of the globalization phenomenon in technology job sectors. Duke was a source in two recent news segments entitled “Agile Development Transforming Software Development” and “SciQuest on Transformation Mission” about strategic procurement for academic, healthcare and research-centric organizations.
See the Exchange's page for detailed event information.
Another SciQuest executive, Suzanne Miglucci, is a featured panelist on Wednesday at the annual Women in Business Conference co-hosted by Duke and UNC. She weighs in on creating value and growth opportunities through innovation from her perspective as vice president of business development. This year's conference, titled “Game Changers of the 21st Century,” focuses on the ways women are changing the face of business in leadership and entrepreneurship.
