GSK Foundation Helps Expand Emerging Issues Fellowship Program
The Institute for Emerging Issues is expanding its faculty fellowship program to six positions from three with the help of a grant from the GlaxoSmithKline Foundation.
The professors, who were selected from the state’s universities and community colleges, will work with the N.C. State-based Institute on a variety of public policy issues. The fellowships are for one year.
The fellows include: Michael Cobb, assistant professor of political science at NCSU; Martin Doyle, associate professor of geography at UNC-CH; Keith Debbage, professor of geography at UNC-Greensboro; Leah Greden Mathews, associate professor of economics, UNC-Asheville; Johnny Shull, lead instructor of business administration, Central Carolina Community College; and Annette Dammer, English and communication instructor, Fayetteville Technical Community College.
