Charlotte Startup Yap Picks Hosted Solutions for IT Services
Yap, a startup that has developed voice-to-text technology, has signed a multiyear contract for a variety of information technology services from Hosted Solutions.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Yap will utilize Hosted Solution’s data center in Charlotte for network services, managed backups, dedicated hardware and application infrastructure management.
“Hosted Solutions offered an ideal solution for us since our applications and engines require a myriad of processing and data storage needs,” said Igor Jablokov, Yap’s chief executive officer.
“This is a key enabler for our team, allowing us to focus on innovation, not the reliability or security of our data. We needed a partner who could provide a secure environment, 100 percent network uptime, and dedicated physical infrastructure. We also needed them to be flexible and responsive as our needs vastly expanded over time," Jablokov said.
"When combined with our comprehensive set of platforms, choosing Hosted Solutions has secured Yap a strategic partner for our globalized ambitions,” he continued.
